Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 16, 2026

OneWorld, Inc. (“OneWorld,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website at https://oneworldinc.com (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with us.

OneWorld is a business-to-business (B2B) pharmaceutical marketing and engagement services company. We provide services such as convention and congress engagement, provider engagement platforms, analytics, campaign measurement, and data integration to our pharmaceutical and business clients. We are not a consumer healthcare provider, and we do not provide medical advice through this Site. This Policy addresses information collected through our Site and general business interactions; it does not govern data processed on behalf of clients under separate service agreements.

Scope

This Policy applies to information we collect through the Site and through your direct communications with us (for example, when you submit a contact form or email us). It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that we do not control, including those that may be linked from the Site.

Information We Collect

We collect a modest amount of information, limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate the Site and respond to inquiries.

Information you voluntarily provide. When you contact us through the Site’s contact form or by email, we collect the information you choose to provide, which typically includes your name, your business email address, and the content of your message. If you provide additional details (for example, your company name or phone number), we collect those as well.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and infrastructure providers may automatically record standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, referring and exit pages, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information is contained in standard server and access logs.

Cookies and analytics. The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. We aim to use privacy-respecting analytics. If and when we deploy specific analytics or cookie technologies, this Policy and our Cookie Notice cover that use. At present, the Site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. See “Cookies and Similar Technologies” below.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information or consumer health data through the Site, and we do not ask you to provide it. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the contact form.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries, requests, and communications.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To understand Site usage and measure the effectiveness of our content and outreach.
  • To communicate with you about our services where you have requested information or where otherwise permitted.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use information collected through the Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

For visitors in jurisdictions where a legal basis is required (such as the EU and UK), we rely on the following bases, depending on the context:

  • Consent — for example, for non-essential cookies and analytics where consent is required.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the Site, understand how it is used, and respond to business inquiries, balanced against your rights.
  • Performance of, or steps toward, a contract — where you contact us to engage our services.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with applicable law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We may use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies that are required for the Site to function.
  • Analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used.
  • Preference cookies that remember your settings.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where applicable, through any consent mechanism presented on the Site. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality. For details, see our Cookie Notice.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as described below:

  • Service providers and processors. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email and communications, and analytics providers. These providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
  • Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. If OneWorld is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We require our service providers to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security protections consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to and follow up on inquiries, to maintain business records, and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely store it.

Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any right, contact us using the information in “How to Contact Us.” We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), provides the following rights:

  • Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed.
  • Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site for purposes that would trigger this right.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.

You may submit a request by contacting us as described below. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. Over the preceding twelve months, the categories of personal information we may have collected are identifiers (such as name and email address) and internet or electronic network activity information (such as server logs and analytics data); we use this information for the business purposes described in this Policy.

EU/UK Visitors (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and equivalent laws, including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We rely on the legal bases described above. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as described in “International Data Transfers.” OneWorld is established in the United States and does not maintain an establishment in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom; we have not appointed an EEA/UK representative or Data Protection Officer. EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors may contact us using the details below.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or under 13 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Data Transfers

OneWorld is based in the United States, and our Site and supporting infrastructure are operated in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions that may have data protection laws different from those in your location. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated Policy on the Site. Material changes may be communicated through additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
